Good morning!
We can’t wait to celebrate Christmas with you! So many people are praying for and preparing for Christmas -- have you thought about what you might do to serve with your church family?
You’ll notice we gave today's action step the highest difficulty rating so far. That’s because today, we’re talking about serving. This theme of serving others is prevalent throughout Jesus’ life, and we see it as a significant theme of Christmas. You’re probably familiar with Jesus’ words in Mark chapter 10:
“So Jesus called them together and said, ‘You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. But among you, it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must be the slave of everyone else. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.’”
