Pastor Warren D. Roberts Sr.
To understand the type of leader and pastor that Pastor Roberts is, it is important to know his history of servitude towards others.
Born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey, young Warren committed his life to the Lord at 16. With a passion to draw closer to Christ, he aligned his life to serving in his church and his community. Brother Roberts, as he was known, volunteered on the church’s cleaning committee, drove the church van, and eventually served on several outreach ministries within the community. These included the Unity Prayer Mission, Prison Ministry, and Substance Abuse Recovery Ministry. His dedication to service led him to be ordained as a Deacon in 1984, and an Elder in 1997. His then pastor, Dr. Irene M. Campbell recognized a unique spirit in Elder Roberts; and in 2006, commissioned him and his family to Atlanta, GA to eventually start a church of his own.
He would soon launch the Point of Grace Community Church and was formally installed as pastor in 2014. Over the last 10+ years, Pastor Roberts has served faithfully as the leader of Point of Grace, humbly leading souls towards Christ and fervently preaching the unabashed word of God.
Pastor Roberts earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Lighthouse Christian College. And in 2023, after 40+ years of faithful service to the Lord, his church, and community, he received as an honorary Doctorate of Theology from the School of Great Commission. Pastor Roberts married his high school sweetheart, Karen in 1986 and together, they have three children: Ashli, Warren II, and Paige.
