This year’s theme, “God’s Got Me,” reminds us of the unshakable trust and faith that Pastor Roberts has modeled throughout his ministry. For 11 years, he has faithfully shepherded the flock of Point of Grace—guiding, praying, teaching, and loving his congregation with a servant’s heart. Through every challenge and triumph, Pastor Roberts has exemplified what it means to trust in God’s provision and grace, no matter the circumstance.
He has prayed for his members when they couldn’t find the words to pray for themselves. He has fasted on behalf of others, believing in the power of intercession. He has even given from his own pocket to support those in need—quietly and humbly living out the gospel he preaches. On this day, we come together as a church family to pour back into him, honoring his tireless dedication and selfless love for the people of God.
💪 “God’s Got Me” — A Theme of Strength and Trust
Pastor Roberts’ life continues to be a living testimony of this year’s theme. Recently, he experienced an unexpected layoff from his position at the CDC due to the government shutdown. Yet, through it all, his faith has remained strong, his spirit unbroken, and his joy unwavering. With a smile on his face and trust in his heart, he reminds us all that no matter what happens—God’s got us.
This year’s celebration is not just about honoring his years of service; it’s about celebrating his faith—a faith that inspires, encourages, and uplifts everyone around him.
🎵 A Time of Praise, Worship, and Fellowship
Our 11th Pastoral Anniversary Celebration will feature a powerful Praise & Worship service filled with great music, joyful expressions, and heartfelt gratitude. We’ll lift our voices together to give God glory for all He has done through Pastor Roberts and the Point of Grace family.
We’re honored to welcome Elder Davis as our guest speaker, who will deliver a powerful, thematic sermon in line with our theme, “God’s Got Me.” His message will be one of encouragement, faith, and renewal—reminding us that when life feels uncertain, God’s hand is still at work.
