🌙 What is a Shut-In?

A Shut-In is more than just an all-night service—it is a divine opportunity to separate ourselves from daily distractions and fully immerse in God’s presence. In an age where life moves fast and schedules overflow, the Shut-In calls us to slow down and press in. It’s a time where we, as a church family, pause everything else and lock ourselves in—not just physically, but spiritually—shutting out the noise of the world so we can tune in to the voice of the Lord.

🙏 Why We Tarry Before the Lord

Inspired by Psalms 42:1-2, which says:

"As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?"

This scripture captures the very essence of our Shut-In. Our souls are thirsty—yearning for something deeper, real, and transformational. We are coming together in the midnight hour because we are hungry for God. We are thirsty for His presence. We are desperate to be filled. We tarry because we believe that when we wait on the Lord, He renews our strength, revives our spirits, and releases His power.
