There are few moments more meaningful in the life of a believer than the decision to publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ. At Point of Grace Community Church, we are excited to gather together for our Annual Baptism Celebration, where we will witness and celebrate individuals taking this important step in their faith journey.

Following our morning worship service on Sunday, September 13th, we will celebrate our baptism candidates as they enter the water and publicly proclaim their commitment to follow Christ.

This is more than a ceremony. It is a celebration of faith, obedience, transformation, and new beginnings.

💧 Why Is Baptism Important?

Baptism is a powerful outward expression of an inward decision. Through baptism, believers publicly identify themselves with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

For the individual being baptized, this moment represents a declaration: “I have chosen to follow Jesus.”

It is a beautiful opportunity to leave behind an old way of life and publicly embrace a new life of faith. While baptism itself does not replace faith in Christ, it serves as an important act of obedience and a visible testimony of the transformation God is working within us.

After the baptism celebration, we invite everyone to stay with us for light refreshments and fellowship.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to congratulate our baptism candidates, meet new people, share in their excitement, and enjoy time together as a church family.
